
Andrey Nesterenko was born on 18 September 1986
in Gorky City in USSR (Russian Federation)
Musical education started at early 4 years old with a private teacher, continuing in 10th Music
School of Nizhny Novgorod (Russia), Musical College of Nizhny Novgorod (with Honoured Worker of Russian
Culture N. Fish). The high level of musical education Andrey have got in The Netherland with Prof.
Michail Markov. In 2006 he graduated for the Bachelor degree and in 2009 for the Master Degree.
First competition where Andrey took his participation was in 1995 at the age of 8 in Kaliningrad,
where he became a laureate. It was the beginning in series of participation in National and
International Competitions around Europe with number of prizes, including:
- Grand Prix at the International Piano Competition in Denmark (2001)
- 2nd Prize at the International Piano Competition for Young Musicians in Enschede, The Netherlands
- 1st Prize at the National Competition “YPF” in Den Haag, The Netherlands (2004)
- 2nd Prize at the International Competition “EPTA Belgium” in Namur, Belgium (2007)
At this moment his active solo musical career combines with a lots of chamber activity, such as “Le couple” piano duo with pianist Sofia Vasheruk (Russia), with saxophonists Jos Baggermans (The Netherlands).
Andrey Nesterenko is a docent-coach in ArtEZ Conservatorium in Zwolle (The Netherlands). Andrey is one of founders of International Musical Organization “Music Take In”.
